“ We only stayed one night. We received a very warm welcome. My single room was small, but very clean and modernly furnished. The restaurant has a good mix of modern and historical ambiance. The service was excellent; all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Since we didn't eat there in the evening, the culinary highlight was breakfast the next day. “ We only ate at the restaurant. We didn't have a reservation for Friday, but still found a table. The decor is rustic, but fitting for the regional cuisine. We had pear-thyme gin and Käuzchen Hell beer (delicious). We were served a complimentary amuse-bouche as a starter. After that, we had parsnip soup, which was very tasty. Unfortunately, they were out of Boeuf Bourguignon, so I had Schäufele (a fairly standard dish). I recommend the trout with the risotto and beetroot. There was also a daily special (ribbon pasta) that wasn't on the regular menu. The staff was friendly and attentive. A definite recommendation from me ”

“ Went here for an overnight visit. Great stay, super friendly service and a great clean room. Although the kitchen personnel (I think) have their breaks and smoke outside which we could smell, it was no problem. Our kids slept quite fast and the rooms were kid-perfect. Blankets and cushions were perfect and so was the baby bed. Most of all personnel was simply amazing. If you are looking for a night to stay, don’t skip Zur Traube. ”
